Warm Fall Day

What a beautiful morning it was this morning. Myla and I took advantage of the warmth and spent some time outside after we got home from taking Titus and Bianca to the groomers. There will not be too many more days like this in 2011 so I am happy that we enjoyed it and each other while we could. We started out with sidewalk chalk on the driveway and then I taught Myla the "Cinderella Dressed In Yella" jump rope song from when I was a little girl. I tried to teach her some other stuff but I didn't remember much.
Lady didn't go to the groomers so she got to come out and enjoy the day with us.
David is hunting in Kansas City this weekend with his cousins so Lady is a little lonely with out him.
He did get his first deer though. So I guess that means my freezer will now be full of deer meat.
He is a handsome country boy though. That can not be denied. I am happy for him. I am glad that he got the chance to get away and really is enjoying himself.
Myla got the rack out and started to rack up some leaves but that became too much work so she moved on to climbing the tree in the front yard. Which was not easy. I ended up putting her up there and snapping a few pictures. She seemed to enjoy it until she noticed a few little small bugs crawling on the branches and then it was over.
It's hard to believe that this tree used to be just a twig when David and I moved in almost 10 years ago. Now here it is holding my daughter in it's branches.
